History
The Heaven Hill Distillery, where these exceptional bourbons are crafted, was founded in 1935. It is one of the oldest and largest bourbon distilleries in the world. The distillery has been producing Evan Williams since 1955, named after Kentucky's first distiller of 1783. Elijah Craig Small Batch was introduced in the 1980s, named after the Baptist preacher who is often credited with inventing bourbon. Larceny Small Batch is a newer addition to the portfolio, launched in 2012, and pays homage to the historic practice of stealing the best part of the bourbon barrels, known as the 'Angel's Share'.
